Inside Data II: Data, Analysis, and Decisions | BAUC3M x AISC
Have you already taken your first steps with Python and want to understand how it’s used to make real-world decisions?
Inside Data II is the second session in the workshop series organized by BAUC3M and AISC Madrid, where we take things a step further by showing how to analyze real data and draw meaningful insights in the financial world using Python.
In this session, you’ll learn to think like an analyst, using market data as a practical example — with a methodology applicable to many other business contexts.
The Inside Data II session stands out for:
- Business‑first approach: It’s not about learning advanced programming, but about understanding how to use data to compare alternatives, assess risks, and justify decisions.
- Analysis with real data: We’ll work with market data to analyze returns, stability, and risk, learning how to interpret what these results mean from a strategic perspective.
- Python as an analytical tool: You’ll discover how Python and libraries like pandas help automate analyses, compare scenarios, and extract insights quickly and systematically — beyond Excel.
- Interpretation and decision‑making: Each analysis will come with a clear reading of the results — what they imply, what decisions they support, and what trade‑offs they reveal.
